No wearables. No sensors. No appointment. Flexa reads your movement through the phone you already own, then coaches you through a program built for what it sees.
Prop your phone against a wall or on a stand, step back, and follow the prompts. Flexa takes a four-photo posture scan (front, back, and both sides), then walks you through six guided movements: a squat, a lunge, a step-over, a twist, a back bend, a toe touch.
Your six movement assessments are read by the Neural Code, a pattern-recognition engine created by neuroscientist Dr. Sheila Nirenberg (Cornell, MacArthur Fellow) and licensed to Spiral Health for movement assessment.
It picks which of eight movement patterns best describes how your body is organized: the tilt behind the ache, not just the spot that hurts. Flexa then builds a program for that pattern, using your posture measurements as the baseline it compares against. Every session feeds back in, so the program keeps adapting.
Your program arrives as a short daily session of guided exercises. Video-led, coached in plain language, sized to fit a real life. Most people do theirs on a mat in the living room, before a shift or after one.
Miss a day and the program flexes. Flag a movement that does not feel right and it gets swapped. The point is consistency you can keep, not a perfect streak.
The coach is always on. The people are on your calendar.
Flexa's AI coach handles the day-to-day in chat: reminders, form cues, program tweaks, check-ins. All of it around the clock. When you want a person, you book a video session with the care team. Employer and Medicare members get an annual allotment of those one-to-one sessions.
Flexa tracks your progress on the same validated instruments used in clinical research, so "I think it's better" becomes a number you can watch move.
Where a validated instrument exists for a region, we use it. Where one does not, we use our own ten-item function scales — hip, knee, ankle, lower extremity and upper back — scored the same way every time so your change over time is meaningful. We do not present those as validated instruments, because they are not: they are ours, and we say so.
Flexa uses your camera two ways. The four posture photos become joint positions and angles, essentially geometry. The six guided movements are read by the Neural Code, which classifies how you move into one of eight movement patterns. Both feed the program Flexa builds for you.
